Who We Are

Our Philosophy

We believe the healing starts with you!

At Conscious Alignment Bodywork, we customize each massage based off what you need. We believe that by bringing self-awareness in to each session, together we are able to create the best treatment plan for you. By taking care of your body you are able to heal your physical self as well as create a more healing environment for your mental self. The more conscious you are, the better you can understand how to treat your body.

Jessica Podolsky, Owner and Licensed Massage Therapist

Jessica, a born native of Illinois, moved to Colorado in 2010 to pursue growth as a massage therapist and individual. Fascinated by the human body and muscles, she was drawn to massage therapy early on. As an athlete growing up, Jessica was familiar with minor sprains, aches and pains. In 2005, she endured a major injury to her ankle which resulted in surgery. Through that experience, she realized the importance of taking care of and listening to your body. Jessica graduated from Capri College in Dubuque, Iowa and has been working as a licensed massage therapist since 2008.

Jessica specializes in therapeutic massage, sports injuries, and post-surgical massage. Skilled at therapeutic massage, Jessica finds the cause of your problem areas and addresses these issues with mastery using a number of different modalities. Therapeutic massage enables her to channel her love of problem-solving to uncovering the “mystery” of each client’s pain.  As a very active person, Jessica understands the importance of addressing an issue and taking care of it as soon as possible, so that you can get back to your daily life.

In 2013, Jessica’s fascination with the metaphysical and spiritual aspects of life led her to study Reiki I & II. Through this she found a way to consciously bring each client in to their own healing through massage and energy work. As an evolving representation of her own journey and to align mind and body, she opened Conscious Alignment Bodywork in 2017.

In her spare time Jessica enjoys all of what Colorado has to offer. In the summer you can find her hiking with her two dogs, camping or going to concerts. She loves to be outdoors which is why she loves Colorado so much…it’s her playground! In addition to being adventurous and outgoing, Jessica’s compassion, knowledge and love for massage, makes her an excellent massage therapist and keeps her clients coming back!

Michelle Alexander, Licensed Massage Therapist

Michelle grew up in Charleston, South Carolina and spent many years living in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina.  She is married to a native of Colorado and now calls Evergreen home.

After graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina, Michelle began her healthcare career within Radiology, working within CT and MRI.  She was also a Clinical Instructor.  Her interests drew her into Healthcare IT, where she worked for many large healthcare organizations, but her love of patient care was something she greatly missed.

Michelle is a spiritual person, pursuing meditation and journeying to understand the greater mysteries that surround us. Her pursuit of greater awareness helped Michelle to identify in late 2015 that something wasn’t right within her body.  This intuition was what saved her life.  She was diagnosed with cancer in a very early stage, had surgery in early 2016 and avoided radiation and chemotherapy.  It was during her recuperation time that she decided to pursue a dream of becoming a Massage Therapist so that she could help others to better care for, and become more in tune with, their own bodies.

Michelle graduated from the esteemed Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, North Carolina.  She is Reiki 1 certified and has completed the first 2 courses towards her Healing Touch™ certification, a process which takes several years. She has also studied Advanced Energy work with Cyndi Dale. She provides a safe and supportive healing environment in partnership with her clients to help them reach and maintain greater wellbeing. Her philosophy is that self-care is not a luxury, it is a necessity, and through compassionate touch we can support and unify the wellbeing of mind and body.

From traditional Swedish methods, incorporating supportive energy work, functional assessments, Myofascial and Neuromuscular techniques and treatment planning, she assists clients from athletes to post-surgical care, and those seeking general wellness and relaxation. Her approach is wholistic and empathic and comes from a place of compassion, unconditional positive regard, and gratitude to serve others.  She has an excellent quality of touch and at her previous practice was the lead Therapist and had a long list of regular clients.

Michelle is also an artist and has collectors across the United States.  She enjoys traveling, camping and hiking with her husband and 3 sons, gardening, amateur photography, meditation, and constantly learning new things. She loves calling Colorado home and is happy to be serving this community!
